The department Environment & Fluid Dynamics Centre is responsible for attribute areas Aerodynamics, Climate Comfort, Contamination, Environment, Vehicle Energy Efficiency, Thermodynamics and Weight. The department has the mission to strengthen the brand by:

If you are the right person for this job, you will realise the opportunity to play a key role for the company's transformation within sustainability and lead a group of dedicated members.
You will have a direct impact on the transformation to electrified vehicles as well as an indirect impact on the company's profitability.
What you'll do
The attribute Vehicle energy efficiency is responsible for strategies, requirements, competence and process development to meet future CO2 and vehicle energy efficiency challenges. As Group Manager you'll lead and develop a strong vehicle energy efficiency/CO2 engineering team with a clear focus on company benefit, business impact and the end customer.
You'll be responsible of a team of 15-20 dedicated members. As a manager of these, you're responsible of creating development opportunities, establish a long-term competence development, planning activities as well as recruiting for key competences. You'll lead the group by example in the day-to-day work, work to secure production and sales flow of CO2 data and actively participate in the departments management group. You will also participate in the departments transformation to agile work practices.
Do you fit the profile?
You have a MSc or equivalent work experience gained in the area of Physics or Electrical Engineering. To fit for this role you have senior leadership experience from the automotive industry and a good understanding of physics and electronics, as well as a genuine interest in vehicle energy efficiency. Besides that, you are fluent in Swedish and/or English and has a Driver's License.
If you have previous experience of CO2 related questions, virtual development or agile development this is an advantage. Knowledge of attribute work processes along with contact network witihin Propulsion or Electrical development will make it this role an even better fit for you.
