About the position
As a Controller you are a true business partner by supporting the management on financial implications prior decision making. Your analysis and financial input are essential for both short- and long-term growth and increased profitability. Your budget- and forecast accuracy is the foundation for the companies' decision making. In addition, the Controller must ensure that financial practices are in line with the FlexLink policy and local accounting principles and where needed establish standardized guidelines as well as KPI- and performance tracking for the Group companies.
Your main tasks will include:
A true business partner to T&I by identifying and highlight financial risks/opportunities, perform profit analysis on FlexLink products and investments/capitalization
Be a strategic partner to Project Managers and Leadership team
Responsible for the monthly reporting, forecast and budget for Innovation & Technologies (R&D)
Assist in project controlling (cost-to-complete & POC, warranty, credit management etc.)
Ensuring accurate accounting processes applied for investments
Together with the Consolidation team finalize the Group monthly and yearly book close
Developing and improving standardized financial processes, routines and internal controls to ensure compliance with tax- and accounting rules, group guidelines and IFRS standards
Develop and implement tools and financial analysis, KPI- and performance tracking
Ad-hoc analysis on financial performance and trend analysis to Group Finance and Leadership team at Group level
Other tasks to be shared within the Team; Finance Manual updates, internal audit support, group management fee controls and internal training of Finance Managers
You will be based in Gothenburg, Sweden, and you will be reporting to the Accounting & Consolidation Manager for the FlexLink Group.

We believe that you have a solid background in Accounting and Reporting with strong analytical skills and with an interest in our business. You are used to work in an international matrix organization where communication and being a sparring partner to other functions in Finance and other departments are part of your daily work. We also believe you are a self-starter who likes to take own initiatives and not only improve Finance but be a contributor to the overall Group's improved profitability.

Ability to perceive trends and draw relevant conclusions thereof

Strong communication skills ensuring clear and appropriate communication at multiple organizational levels
Used to work in international Matrix organizations
Personal characteristics:
Qualifications:
University Diploma in Business, Economics, Accounting or equivalent
• 5 years of work-experience within controlling and advanced accounting
Solid knowledge of Swedish accounting rules and IFRS
Experience from working in a similar industry and in an international environment is meritorious
SAP experience is meritorious
Fluent in Swedish and English
