In this role you will work in close cooperation with our Product Area Presidents taking an active part in their leadership teams. You will be an important part of the Global Business Control team and have daily contacts with stakeholders, external and internal, supporting the Product Areas, with efficient, reliable, and proactive financial- and business controlling. This means being an essential contributor to the development and implementation of our business strategy, taking lead of the coordination in a matrix organization across three continents.
Your main responsibilities will be:
• Monthly analyses and comments of each Product Areas financial operative results
• Quarterly Business Reviews for each Product Area
• Proactively support Product Area management towards growth and profitability
• Lead the forecasting and target process and enable strategi fulfilment for each Product Area in our Business Plan Process
• Develop common analysis and visualization of the operative result on Group as well as Product Area level.
• Drive the development of the consolidation and analysis of the operative result as part of Group Business Control Department
• Ad hoc project
You will focus on cost-analysis and follow-up and business cases in respective Product Area as well as develop KPIs and performance measurement tools. You will collaborate with Operations as well as Group Functions in governance tasks and an ongoing focus will be to support relevant stakeholders in each Product Area to improve the quality in business decisions by increasing financial knowledge and awareness. It will be you who prepare Product Area related business process and strategy related material for the Product Areas to the board.
Who are we looking for?
To be able to take on this role we believe that you need a university degree within Finance, Business Administration, or similar. We also believe that you have at least five years or more of experience from an analytical role as Business Controller, Finance Business Partner, or as management consultant or another similar role. Previous experience from an analytical business partner role in an international matrix organization, preferable in the manufacturing industry gives you an advantage as candidate. Whether your previous background you must have shown yourself as a reliable business partner in an international matrix organization and you need a good track record of successful business-oriented actions based on own solid analysis.
To fully grasp the role and be able to deliver on it, you need advanced knowledge of Excel as well as knowledge of tools and systems for visualization and presentation of business insights. You also need experience of working with one or several BI tools and consolidation systems as well as an integrated ERP system.
When it comes to personality you need high goal orientation, well developed analytical skill and the ability to work with several stakeholders in a complex matrix organization without losing sight of the big picture. This is a senior role with several international contacts throughout the organization which means that you need to create long term relationships with people across different cultures which means that fluent spoken and written English is needed.
