YOUR RESPONSIBILITES
We are searching for a dedicated person engaged to be a part of our global journey. You will be a part of our Ground Systems team and together with your colleagues you will be responsible to manage, operate and develop the SSC and customer owned ground systems we have within our global network of ground stations.
In this role you will be responsible for a number of ground systems where your competence will be challenged and your skills will improve. You will be the technical point of contact within SSC and towards our customers related to your area of responsibility of ground systems.
We see you as a careful, engaged person who is willing to take your own initiative with a good sense of discernment.
This position comprises to work outside, climbing in the antennas at high altitudes
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• A bachelor's degree or corresponding experience in Electrical Engineering or related technical field is required.
• Familiarity with ground station equipment (metrology, mechanics, RF modulation techniques, error coding, and standards).
• Excellent time management, interpersonal, and communications skills coupled with a strong work ethic; ability to work autonomously in a dynamic work environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project and SharePoint.
• Two years working as an engineer in a technical / development setting is desired.
• Driving license class B is mandatory for this position.
