As a Graphic Artist, you will play a vital role in expanding and refining our library of Picture Communication Symbols (PCS) while designing and creating technical illustrations, iconography, and layouts that support our hardware and software products. You will collaborate across teams to produce high-quality, accessible design solutions that empower individuals with disabilities to communicate and engage with the world.
In this role, you will:
Design and create new Picture Communication Symbols for communication and curricular software.
Develop and design documents to support hardware and software products.
Create engaging illustrations for curricular software and print activities.
Collaborate with content developers and technical writers to ensure artwork meets product requirements.
Track, document, and manage design projects to meet deadlines.
Support occasional social media promotions with creative designs.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who has:
An Associate's Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent work experience.
2+ years of experience working as a graphic artist.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) on both MAC and PC platforms.
Experience with print design is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and internet applications.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaboration across teams.
A strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects.
