Right now, we're looking for a Global Workshop Operations Manager to our Stationary Crushing and Screening division to support our service workshops.
Your mission
In this position, you develop and implement the design and delivery of a global service workshop standard, adaptable to any location globally that delivers value to customers. This is embedded in Sandvik's standard Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) and business process that includes digital technology to serve current and future business. You take a proactive approach to building a sustainable EHS culture in our workplace and you act in accordance with achieving zero harm to our employees, the environment we work in, our customers and our suppliers. You will identify and report all unsafe work behaviors, practices, hazards and incidents and set the strategic direction to drive operational service excellence for global workshops.
Some of your responsibilities are to:
Identify, evaluate, and prioritize the service operations' demand for improvements needed to generate efficiency.
Develop and enhance key relationships with sales territory teams that drive efficiency, customer productivity and profitable business as well as facilitate cascading through organizational updates and new processes or technologies.
Work with regional and global skills development teams to develop training programs to ensure required service operations capability in frontline roles.
Validate capabilities, layout standards and required infrastructure to support business expectations
Support sales territories to deliver our customers expected service level and KPIs for maintenance and service repairs with safety, quality and efficiency.
You report to the Service Solutions Manager, and you collaborate with several key stakeholders throughout the organization. In this position you're located in Svedala, Sweden, and some travel is included in the job, both domestically and internationally.
Your character
We're looking for someone with proven experience within systems and remote support. You also have several years of workshop experience and a background within Service Management, Commercial Management or Project Management and you have proven leadership skills. You hold a technical or business degree from university or have relevant senior leadership experience. Lean Six Sigma qualification, minimum Green Belt, is a requirement and if you have experience within heavy equipment or mining industry it's a plus. As we're a global organization, you have excellent skills in both written and verbal English.
