What you'll do
You will lead global sales planning team, responsible to develop Volvo Cars short-term (2-year) volume forecast, which you present to the management for approval on a monthly basis. You will lead the process in close collaboration with key stakeholders including three Regions, industrial organization, and finance. By balancing commercial and industrial requirements, and through identifying areas of opportunities, you will manage global optimization of volume planning in order to achieve optimum volume/share and profit for the company. You are part of Commercial Operations management team.
You will also:
* Develop annual volume target
* Monitor and analyze sales performance and other business KPIs
* Steer cross functional work on pipeline and stock management including establishing guidelines
* Solve ad hoc cases including demand, production, and capacity issues
* Lead designing of new demand planning system requirements

Who you are
You can lead cross-functional work independently while building strong relationships. You are able to work effectively in high stress environment. You can communicate effectively to senior management. You are analytical, fact-based, objective, and neutral. You would also possess extensive competence and knowledge within sales and volume optimization and planning
We believe that your background and skills include15 years+ experience in automotive industry. You bring experience from volume planning in an international company, with yearly turnover >25 billion euros. You carry a strong commercial background, including experience in sales companies. You have extensive knowledge of commercial and industrial processes along with highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
