We secure an optimised and fully integrated package solution for customers of Tetra Pak by offering our food-safe, cost-driven, environmentally sound, complete portfolio of Additional Material products. Additional Material complements the Packaging Material to shape a complete Tetra Pak package.
Within Additional Materials, the new Tetra Pak Closures organisation are today supplying 32 bio plastic caps, produced by more than 200 production lines located in 4 Tetra Pak plants and another 14 external plants.
You will join the Tetra Pak Closures organization and manage the relationship with Key Strategic Suppliers as well as deploy the sourcing strategy, with a high level of autonomy. You negotiate secure and competitive supply and secure Responsible Sourcing. In this position you are reporting to the Manager, Sourcing & Procurement - Closures and you will be member of the Sourcing & Procurement Team.
Location is optional, either in Lund, Sweden or in Modena, Italy. The position requires approx. 25% of travelling time.
Main responsibilities
• Source, select and contract suppliers, in the field of Plastic Injection Moulding, on a global basis;
• Generate global alternatives to existing supply sources;
• Negotiate conditions to ensure supplier's high performance in terms of cost, quality and delivery;
• Develop long term relationship, identify and cultivate new business relations;
• Drive supplier Common Agenda. Secure continuous supplier partnership and contribution to Innovation.
• Deploy cost savings programs over the suppliers network, for long term competitiveness;
• Scout innovative supply solutions to maximize purchasing efficiency, being able to think in terms of total cost for TP Closures, develop sourcing plans accordingly.
• Supplier risk management and Responsible Sourcing.
Qualifications
As a person you are pro-active, self motivated and assertive. You are comfortable in personal inter-relationships and you naturally engage in building and maintaining professional relationships.
You are able to anticipate and understand a complex situation; you manage to review the implications and consequences of problems and possible solutions. You pursue everything with energy, drive and a need to finish.
You are used to place priority and structure to work related matters and you are methodical, attentive to details and efficient. You have a clear and concise communication style.
To be a successful candidate you should have a Degree in Economics & Finance, or a Degree in Engineering.
You have at least 5 years experience in Purchasing and Suppliers Management. Project Management experience will be considered as a plus.
A very good command of English both written and verbal is a must.
