We are now looking for a Global Solution Manager to join the new Industry Segment Solutions team.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As Global Solution Manager in the Industry Segment Solutions team you will work in a newly formed team that is now taking shape. You will have the main responsibility for new Axis solutions, and together with your colleagues in the Industry Segment Solutions team manage the whole life cycle of the solutions, including strategic planning, roadmap planning, introduction of new features and components etc. The solutions are primarily video analytics software applications, in-sourced from different technology partners, but can also include in-house developed user applications and complementing components.
The initial solutions and functionalities, you will be working with are developed by an external supplier with whom you are expected to have close working relationship. You will take an active part in the solution launch project and keep a close market interaction continuously.
Your main responsibilities on a high level:
Own and manage the solution over the whole solution life cycle, including solution strategy and roadmap, together with a team of product and solutions experts, internal and external
Actively contribute to the development and launch of the solution, and future attributes and functionalities
Develop a deep understanding for the end customer reality and different use cases, as well as competition and competing offerings
Contribute to create a companywide understanding of the solution and the use cases, and interact with internal stakeholders within Sales, Marketing, R&D and Operations
Work closely with the business development organization within Global Sales and contribute to the success of the industry segment initiatives
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a driven and structured team player who enjoys working in a high pace environment with cross-functional teams. You have excellent social skills and an ability to manage and perform in a multi-cultural environment with international contacts. You are always open to customers and colleagues, contributing to a good team spirit and a productive environment. It is of great value if you have technical knowledge and experience from working with IP video technology and/or Axis video products as well as video analytics, biometrics and facial recognition software or otherwise prove a strong interest in these areas. Furthermore, we believe you have:
A technical university degree including software development as one component
5-10 years working experience from a similar position
A genuine interest in business and market dynamics
Experience from working with solutions close to the market
Excellent English skills, written and verbal
Swedish language skills: not essential, but a distinct advantage
THE TEAM
The Industry Segment Solutions group is a new team, created to accelerate our solutions development for key target customer groups. The team is part of the 'Platform & Aftermarket Services' department within the R&D Software organization. The assignment comes from the global business development team for the industry segments within Global Sales. Focus is to plan, develop and manage new solutions to support our prioritized industry segment ambitions, primarily through OEMs but also through development of pre- or postinstalled camera applications. The scope includes e.g. evaluation of new solutions, managing the solutions' life cycle, education and training, handling of complex support issues, driving proof of concepts, and active pre-sales support to the regions.
