hela Sverige Bromma is now searching a Global R&D Director to our office in Kista (Stockholm), Sweden. We offer you a challenging and interesting position to become part of a truly global organization. You will lead and develop the R&D team (managers and employees) both locally and globally. You will report to Bromma's Vice President, Product Business Management.
You will interact globally with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) customers and Terminal Operators (TO). Internally you will work together with Bromma Product Management, Sales, Finance, Customer Engineering, Manufacturing teams, Quality Control, Sourcing and After Sales teams.
Key accountabilities:
• Act as global responsible for Bromma's Research and Development within all our different product lines and after sales.
• Interact globally with OEM customers and Terminal Operators.
• Assure that product solutions meet market requirements, as defined by Product Management and demands from rest of Bromma's organization. Overall technical product responsibility for customer demands, product safety, legislation requirements and internal demands for Bromma products.
• Responsible for Bromma's R&D strategy, innovation and IPR.
• Perform resource management within own organization and secure competent resources based on needs for - Innovation projects - Product Development projects - Support to other parts of the organizations.
• Responsible for an efficient working process within own department, including also the interface to other departments.
• Responsible for yearly personal development plans with subordinates.
• In charge of budget, costs, forecasts and results for own area of operation.
We expect you to have:
• An engineering degree and project management training
• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Good understanding of a global business and global matrix structure for industrial equipment

• Delivering results and meeting customer expectations
• Technical interest
• Understanding of industrial equipment containing, mechanical structures, hydraulics, electrics and control system
