We entered the stroller category 2014 with jogging and all-terrain strollers and our juvenile products are highly appreciated by consumers world-wide and have been awarded with prestigious design awards such as the iF Gold Award and Red Dot Best of the Best Award. We have this summer launched the premium Thule Sleek city-stroller and will continue to expand our product portfolio over the years to come. We now are looking for a new Global Product Manager who will take over the lead for the product category.
As Global Product Manager Strollers you will be the global lead responsible for managing and coordinating the Group's stroller category. Your main responsibilities will be to define the global category plan. This means that you will drive the commercial implementation and launches of new products, perform market analyses, gather consumer insights, make competitive analyses and plan the product life cycle to ensure a strong development of the product category. You will also be the product expert supporting with product expertise, general market & category knowledge, and your category specific commercial insights.
You will work in close cooperation with the category product development team as well as the Thule Group Regional Sales and Marketing teams. The position is based at our head office in Malmö, Sweden, and requires approximately 30-50 travel days annually. Regular over day travels to our product development facility in Hillerstorp, Sweden, is also a requirement.
To be successful in this role it is key that you are a proven Product Manager having a track record of strong commercial mindset and involvement in major product launches. Your ability to easily communicate, analyze data, conceptualize visions of the category and excellent cooperation skills are other key ingredients in your personal profile. We work in an international environment where a high level of English is required. You have an academic degree in Business Management or Engineering and at least 5years of experience from a role as Product Manager of seldom purchase consumer goods, preferably from the juvenile/stroller industry. Experience from matrix organizations and an international environment together with real commercial experience is advantageous.
