Envirotainer bring more than 2,000,000 doses per day of much-needed medicines to patients worldwide, and their ambition is to double that in the next few years.
Currently, they are more than 360 employees, in 3 regional operations centres, 50+ service stations, central operations as well as sales management teams, in-house production facility, and their own R&D department. Evirotainer develops and manufactures market leading containers and offers leasing options of container solutions for pharmaceutical products that require a controlled environment. They do this together with their partner service network that includes an additional 300 people who work with their solutions every day.
Tasks and responsibilities:
As a Global Logistics Specialist you will be responsible in helping Envirotainer grow by maximizing the global fleet availability/utilization in a durable way. Your main tasks will be improving processes, order management system development, global logistics planning and support colleagues when needed.
This means that you will be responsible for understanding, developing and improving the companies order management systems cross functionality within Operations. You will create and execute a vision and roadmap for your area together with relevant stakeholders. You will develop and implement processes, tools and KPIs to streamline and monitor improvements in performance. Provide super admin support for relevant systems and tasks as well as providing change management and training for implementation changes. Furthermore, you will develop and work to implement offering, planning and repositing strategy. Pro-actively identify, solve and implement solutions to global imbalances as well as performing planning, instructing the regions to perform repositioning moves and follow-up on the execution.
Since your results are integral to the overall performance of Envirotainer you play an important role in driving the future success of our company. You work closely with a team of 4 colleagues in the Global Logistics team as well as an additional 11 colleagues in the Logistics teams in the regions. You will report to Head of Global Logistics who is based in Sweden.
Education, Experience and Personal characteristics:
• Completed university degree within Business, Engineering or similar or equivalent work experience
• Experience with planning and development of (return) logistics
• Experience with process, IT and change management
• Excellent system-knowledge
• Fluent in English
To succeed in the role, you are analytically inclined which means you easily understand abstract and complex tasks as well as you acknowledge eventual wrongs. You approach tasks and problems with a logical approach and learn quick from previous work tasks. In addition, you are good at planning and drive your work forward with the ability to make your own decisions. When things get stressful during certain periods, you have the ability to keep calm and keep working structured.
