We are seeking a talented and experienced Global Category Manager to take our Third-Party Logistics (3PL) services to the next level.
About the position
We are looking for a strategic and results-driven professional to take on the role of Global Category Manager for 3PL Logistics Services. In this key position, you will be responsible for developing and implementing global sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across our 3PL logistics services. In close collaboration with cross-functional teams, you work thoroughly to understand business requirements and align sourcing strategies with organizational objectives. We are committed to driving continuous improvement initiatives to elevate the overall performance and effectiveness of our Third-Party Logistics (3PL) services.
Areas of responsibilities (among others)
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure service levels meet or exceed expectations.
Owner of RFI's, RFP's and RFQ's - ensuring all commercial terms are agreed and documented, including NDA, SOW's and Master Purchase Agreement are positioned appropriately before business is initiated
Consolidate spend across supply base to create leverage, analyze purchasing trends and develop sourcing alternatives
Lead complex and large-scale sourcing events, conduct fact-based negotiations (building on supplier and industry analysis, benchmarks, cost structure analysis), review and select suppliers to build long-term relationships with that deliver against business objectives and achieves sustainable relationships with suppliers
Develop key performance measures for chosen suppliers and negotiate on multiple variables to award longer-term strategic contracts that result in significant cost reduction and improved service levels, including evaluation of supplier business proposals and present recommendations that will result in cost savings, avoidance, or containment

About you
We're seeking a standout individual that is ready to lead the change in shaping the future of our supply chain operations! The ideal candidate have a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management (Business or other relevant field) - an advanced degree is a major plus! You have at least 7 years of hands-on experience in global procurement and category management, with a specialized focus on Third-Party Logistics (3PL) services. Familiarity with relevant industry technologies and supply chain management systems is expected!
Your success will be defined by your proven ability to skillfully negotiate and manage contracts with 3PL service providers on a global scale. You have strong analytical prowess, and turn complex data into actionable insights, driving strategic decisions that propel our business forward. Additionally, you have an ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver results in a fast-paced, global environment.
As a person you are an effective communicator and interpersonal skills are crucial for seamless collaboration with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. Fluent skills in English both written and spoken is required.
Location: We offer a hybrid working model with a consistency presence at the office in Huskvarna. Business travel is included on a regular basis.
