The application expertise within the Business Unit Food Heat Transfer is one of the absolute key values we as a central organisation bring to the sales companies. To strengthen and further develop this part we are now looking for a people oriented leader with strong customer focus.
Who you are
Personal profile & qualificationsThe Global Applications team holds deep expertise in industries from Food, Brewery and Pharma to Ethanol, Sugar, Starch, Edible oil and Municipal waste. To further strengthen this team, you master the challenges of at least one of these industries, obviously including heat exchanger design.
You find it inspiring to work with people. You want to provide the best conditions for each team member to develop and reach his or her full potential.
The Global Applications team is the motor also for the main application development that we drive in the Business Unit. As the manager for the team, you are spearheading these initiatives and drive development, based on industry insight.
To be successful in this position, you naturally take initiatives and want to be involved in technical and commercial decisions.
We want you to have some, or many, years of experience from designing heat exchangers in the food- and/or related industries. You can also show examples of when you have practiced successful leadership. As an educational background, you probably have a Masters' degree in Chemical Engineering, or similar.

Responsibilities:
Together with Alfa Laval Sales Companies around the world, grow heat exchanger business within the industries covered by the BU Food Heat Transfer.
Take part in creating business strategies for the different industries within Food Heat Transfer and lead the execution of the same
Lead the operational application support to the Alfa Laval Sales Companies around the world.
Lead the application development within the BU.
Secure that every team member has the right conditions to develop to his or her full potential
PracticalitiesWe see Lund as a natural location for this position.
