We are now looking for a Geometry Architect fpr a permanent position at Volvo 3P
Tasks:
The primary role of a Geometrical Architect is to lead geometrical studies throughout all phases in a project. Visualizing requirements and facilitating communication between different company
functions, clarify and structure is expected despite conflicting conditions. The main tasks for the Geometrical Architect are to:
Participation in start cost projects from pre-studies to SP-start. Define geometrical prerequisites in projects
Identify geometrical/physical packaging problems. Propose/Visualize technical solutions.
The Geometrical Architect has the authority to make decisions concerning geometrical concept selections within the frame of QDCF (quality, delivery, cost, features).
Qualifications:
University Degree or relevant education in concernd subject. Knowledge in CAD systems as Pro/ENGINEER. Good knowledge of truck configurations & product structure. Good knowledge of product projects.
Personality:
As a person you achieve well in high pressured situations and have an ability to prioritize in an proactive manner. You can identify the biggest risks and the most important deliveries through out the
project to be able to communicate to your colleagues with a successful result. You take great responsibility in your tasks, structured in your work and are used to work goal oriented. You have a great
sens e of humour and a natural way of cooperate with all kinds of people.
