hela Sverige Are you ready for new challenges? Boliden - Field Exploration North Zn, are now looking for one Geologist and one Senior geologist.
Field Exploration North Zn is a group of nine, including geologists/senior geologists and Field technician focusing on VMS exploration in Skellefte district.
Tasks
You will be working in a team of geologists, geophysicists, geochemists and field technicians to plan, initiate, and supervise explorations activities and report the results to the management. Common tasks will drill core logging, geological 2D interpretations and 3D modelling, field working including mapping and geochemistry sampling.
Collaboration and communication are important at Boliden in the everyday work, both with team members and external contractors, consultants, stake holders and authorities. Being a good communicator, result oriented, flexible and being able to work both on your own and in group.
Your qualifications
We seek a Senior Geologist and a Geologist with a master's degree with at least two years' experience from exploration or mining.
Your qualifications
• M.Sc. Degree in geology
• Working experience in exploration
• You are proficient in written and spoken English.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Fluency in Swedish or a willingness to learn is desired.
• Team player, flexible and able to adapt to culture.
• Being a result oriented explorationist
Additional qualifications for Senior Geologist
• 5-10 years of experience in the exploration or mining industry.
• Experience from VMS exploration
Assets
• It considered an asset to have worked with 2D/3D geological interpretation/modelling in Leapfrog or similar and GIS software.
• Good understanding of structural geology
• Geochemistry experience etc. working in IoGas or similar software.
• Field work experience, mapping and sampling. Being comfortable working in the field.

Field Exploration North Zn is group of nine people, subordinate of Exploration department of Boliden Mines staff function has approximately 300 employees and includes, among other departments: HR and Safety, Sustainability, Finance, Technology, Business Development and Exploration.
