About the role
As a Game FX Artist, you will play a central role and collaborate with different game teams. Your task is to create rich and rewarding effects (mostly 2D & real-time) that will have substantial impact on the design and quality of our slot games. Our games have a large variation of themes which will enable you to produce artwork in different styles. At the same time, you will have alternating focus by working on each game for only a few months. You will work with everything from visualizing early game ideas, to producing the final artwork used in our games. This will be done by designing games in close collaboration with both artists and developers to jointly achieve the highest visual quality in mind. In order to play your part successfully, you will need to understand how the games work and being perceived. We work in a studio, where the route from idea to implementation is very short. You will work in a casual and fun atmosphere, where you will have the opportunity to make a real difference.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum of 2 years of work experience in relevant areas
Able to produce effects in a variety of styles.
Understanding of animation principles
Competent use of Photoshop, After Effects and Spine
Have the ability to optimize in-game effects, to work on all mobile devices
Interested in game development and problem solving
An understanding of color, and color theory.
Able to deliver in a fast paced, adaptive environment
Good communication skills, a positive attitude and a team player
We also value
Experience working in mobile gaming and apps.
Programming or scripting experience
Painting skills and experience with 2D/3D modelling or animation
