Stoneridge have about 4 500 employees worldwide and a turnover of approximately 800 million USD. Stoneridge are now expanding and to our department Vision & Safety, geographically placed in Solna, Sweden we are now looking for a Functional Safety Manager.
Work description
As functional safety manager at the Vision & Safety Department, you will ensure that a team of around 25 people, within software and hardware system architecture, mechanics and electronics, strives towards the right direction in different projects according to relevant standards and technical development of Stoneridge platform. In this department, a camera-based replacement for the traditional rearview mirrors on trucks has been developed. A lot of work is also done on integrating machine learning into Stoneridge 's products, so that drivers can get alerts in critical situations.
As a Functional Safety Manager you will be:
• Responsible for planning and leading functional safety work according to ISO 26262.
• Create and maintain a safety architecture (functional safety concept, technical safety concept).
• Be responsible for functional safety to Stoneridge products.
• Be responsible for leading safety analysis: HARA, FMEA, FTA.
• Synchronize functional safety and technical implementations within different disciplines.
• Compilation of the safety case.
Who are you?
In order to succeed we are looking for a person with an engineering degree, preferably within electronics. We believe you have experience from performing safety work according to ISO 26262 or similar. Furthermore we think that you have been working with system architecture in safety critical systems, and that you have experience from FMEA as well as requirement specifications.
We believe that you are a person with the capacity of making a team strive towards the same goal, as well as standing next to the customers advising them regarding the projects. Due to our international customers we see that you are fluent in English, both in speaking and in writing. Swedish is considered as an advantage.
