The department Energy Propulsion System is responsible for development of major parts of hybrid and electric vehicle systems at Volvo Cars. Sub-systems as Batteries, Power supplies, Chargers etc. are some of our responsibilities.
The group Charging Software is responsible for delivering software functionality for the On-board charger (OBC) system in our electrified vehicles. Our vision is to deliver the best functionality in the market and continuously evolve our development platform. We are working with continuous integration as development praxis and we are striving towards continuous deployment of software.
As a function developer for Charging Standards in our group you will be part of an agile, scrum development team and deliver state of the art functionality. You will utilize a model based development (MBD) process to realize functionality for differ charging standards i.e. GB/T, CHAdeMO and CCS. You will be part of all phases of the development, from design and implementation to vehicle testing and fine tuning of your functionality.
*Model based software development of on-board charger (OBC) functionality
*Perform development testing in various test environments
*Perform calibration activities in vehicle
*Utilize Autosar structured architecture, workflow & tool chain
*Interact with suppliers about software design solutions
Required qualifications
*University degree within electronics, Software engineering or equivalent competence
*Experience of working as SW developer
*Experience of working with Power Line Communication (PLC)
*Experience of working with charging standards: AC, CHAdeMO, CCS
*Knowledge about common standards i.e. ISO15118-2, DIN70121 or IEC61851
*Relevant job experience relative to development of automotive SW and control systems
*Knowledge about AUTOSAR architect and development
*Driver license B
*Good English skills, verbally and in writing
Meritorious:
*Experience in the automotive industry is meritorious
*Experience of working with Simulink and model based software development.
*Experience of working with system requirement, system solution and system design is meritorious
*Experience of development with python, C#, .NET, JAVA is meritorious
*Experience of database development i.e. PLSQL is meritorious
*Experience of Power Electronic specially on-board charger functionality is meritorious
*Competence within Scrum/Agile development, Test automation, C-programming, software build environments, Continuous integration framework, JIRA, Jenkins, SVN, INCA, software testing (unit, MIL, SIL, HIL, Rigs, vehicle) is meritorious
*Experience of working with Mentor BSW is meritorious
