Join our team
The Operational Technology Center at Nederman is dedicated to advancing cross-product platforms that bridge the digital gap between traditional industrial equipment and modern digital technologies. Our focus lies in developing new ways of controlling our equipment to improve performance, reduce costs and reduce their environmental footprint. Data is systematically collected through our fleet of connected devices, aiding our ongoing development initiatives, and delivering valuable insights. Empowered by cutting-edge AI technologies, we seamlessly provide these insights to our customers through user-friendly web and mobile applications. With a substantial and growing client base, we are committed to a rapid expansion. To achieve this, we are seeking to add 11 more professionals to our existing team of 7. We are looking for highly skilled people in Automation, Back-End, Front-End. QA, Project Management, Security, etc.

The objective is to build highly integrated hardware and software to create products that only Nederman - The Clean Air Company could make.

What you will do
As our Fullstack Developer and subject matter expert, you will play an important role in contributing to cutting-edge technology and innovation and take a lead role in defining and managing the architecture, overseeing the development and maintenance of our applications. You will engage in both back-end and front-end design and develop applications for our On-prem device and Cloud, HMIs, mostly focused on new development. Some of your responsibilities:

• Cross-functional work to ensure effective collaboration and alignment with project goals.

• Develop applications using a variety of programming languages and tools, such as C#, Python and Angular, selecting based on their suitability for the specific application.

• Participate in quality assurance processes to identify and address any issues

• Engage in pair programming practices, fostering a collaborative environment and enhancing code quality.

• Engage in every stage of the development life cycle, from conceptualization and design to coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

• Apply Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, to manage projects efficiently, ensuring iterative development, adaptability to change, and timely delivery.

We believe you have
You have several years of programming experience, where you have been exposed to a range of technologies related to both backend and frontend development. We value your broad experience, and you bring knowledge in:

• Containerization and orchestration

• Linux administration

• Networking and OT communications

• Database management

• Web page design and API

• App development

• Architecture

• Monitoring, Logging, and Testing frameworks and methodologies

• CI/CD pipeline implementation and maintenance

• Version control systems

• IT Security best practices and clear and effective documentation

You find it easy to learn new techniques and methods, while at the same time you appreciate using what you have previous experience in. Most importantly, you can challenge the existing ways of thinking by bringing in new ideas and technologies. For this role, you need to have strong communication skills in English, spoken and written.
