Natural Cycles is scaling, and we're looking for a hands-on builder to drive FP&A at NC and sit at the heart of Finance-owning our monthly management reporting, plugged into data, and partner with teams to drive forecasting and financial planning. Further, FP&A works closely with Strategic Finance, Accounting, Data Analysts etc but ultimately owns and drives our management reporting, budget process, etc. Furthermore, this role will support CFO and Strategic Finance in capital raises and business development.
Please note that we are hiring for this role in Sweden.
What you will be doing
Running FP&A at Natural Cycles: from financial planning to reporting of financial performance
FP&A and budgeting

Own recurring FP&A processes end to end: monthly reporting packages, forecast updates


Improve financial model and update rolling forecast based on pacing, ensuring accuracy of inputs and assumptions


Main responsible for budgeting incl. compiling annual budget, leading the planning process and coordinating stakeholders


Lead dialogue with senior leadership on budgeting; cost control and follow up


Partner with Data team to leverage BI, ERP, DWH to shape a clean finance data model and single source of truth; identify and fix issues with Data and Accounting


Monthly reporting

Responsible for producing monthly management reporting package and quarterly investor reporting


Responsible for analysis and reporting of monthly financial performance


Analyze and summarize key financial and business highlights each reporting period


Perform variance analysis compared to budget and prior periods; business controlling


Continuously improve, automate and streamline financial reporting


Other

Ad-hoc financial analysis and projects


Lead, co-lead and support financial initiatives and projects


Work closely with Strategic Finance and CFO on capital raises, investor relations, board materials, business cases and growth initiatives



What skills and experience we think you have
We're looking for someone who brings a builder mentality and the ability to operate strategically and hands-on. The ideal candidate will have:

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience from similar role, banking and/or big 4


High proficiency in Excel / Google sheets, and PowerPoint


Thrives in handling and navigating large sets of financial data


Understanding of the three financial statements and how they connect


Understanding of cohort behavior, unit economics and Saas metrics (LTV, CAC, retention, etc.)


Strong attention to detail


Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills


Strong communication skills


A hands-on approach: willing to dive into the numbers, materials and models


Proven ability to navigate ambiguity: progress over perfection


Strong cultural fit: team player, interest in Natural Cycles' business and mission

Location
We are remote-friendly, but we find great value in being able to connect with our teams in person. Most of the Finance team you will work with is located in Stockholm.
