Financial Control & Accounting (FCA) is the function in Group Reporting Tax & Control (part of Group Finance) with responsibility to secure that financial performance is correctly reflected for Business Areas, Truck Divisions, Group Functions and legal entities. FCA is also a global service provider through Accounting Services with process efficient, standardized service deliveries supporting local finance. FCA employs 1400+ people in 50+ countries.
FCA Group & Sweden is the part of FCA with responsibility for financial performance reporting for Business Areas, Truck Divisions, Group Functions and legal entities based in Sweden.

Position Description
We are now looking for a temporary Financial Controller for Volvo Bussar Uddevalla to join our team in Uddevalla, during the parental leave of our Financial Controller.
In this position you will be part of the Volvo Buses accounting team at FCA. Together with the Chief Accountant, you are responsible for securing the financial reporting for Volvo Bussar Uddevalla and you provide support and perform analysis in the period end closing. Your main responsibility is the Accounts Receivable and Payable accounting.
You have a structured mindset and enjoy working close to the business in a flexible environment. One key success factor, besides having a passion for accounting, is that you are a true team player and have good networking skills.
The team is also providing day-to-day accounting support. You will participate in development work aiming to increase efficiency and effectiveness in our ways of working. You have a solid interest in adding value to the accounting function, in continuous improvement work and in improving efficiency by effective use of tools. In this role you will report to Head of FCA Volvo Buses with a functional reporting to the Chief Accountant of Volvo Bussar Uddevalla.
Skills and qualifications:
University degree in Business Administration or similar education and some experience in the field of accounting
Analytical, structured with attention to details, ability to work independently
Ability to prioritize and with strong commitment to get things done
Proactive, service minded with high integrity
Enjoy working in teams and contributing to a positive atmosphere
Fluent in written and spoken Swedish and English
Excellent skills in Microsoft Office (Excel)
Knowledge about / experience from working in an accounting system (SAP or similar)
Good knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP
Passion for continuously improving accounting and reporting
To be successful in this position you work in a structured manner and have high analytical skills. You need to be proactive and service minded, to have good problem solving abilities as well as being well organized and networking skills. But most of all you have high integrity and are a true team player and you contribute with good team spirit.
