About the role
You will be part of our Accounting team of five employees and you will report to Head of Accounting SE. The role combines semi-advanced tax work, special accounting projects and day-to-day transaction work. You will be responsible for tax-returns in Europe including VAT, EC-sales list and intrastat. You will also assist Head of Accounting during the monthly close and in "special projects" e.g. IFRS-implementation, reporting projects and internal control over financial reporting. Some of your other tasks will be to support the Transaction Team with customer payments, cash forecasting and cash collection.
To be successful in this role it is important that you have a strong willingness and desire to learn in order to develop and improve routines, processes and working methods within Accounting. The position is until further notice and is located in Umeå.
Your profile
You have a University Degree in Accounting & Finance and 2-3 years of relevant work experience from a medium-sized or a large company, preferably in the manufacturing industry. Our ERP-system is Movex and we use QlikView for Business Intelligence and analysis so basic skills in any of those applications would be beneficial. Full professional fluency in English is required and language skills in French and German is meritorious.
We are looking for someone who is structured with a high level of initiative and drive in combination with being prestigeless. To succeed in this role, it is important to be a team player and to see opportunities rather than problems.
