At Global Finance Operations you will be a key contributor to the creation of the next generation Finance community - One Finance. As part of our team, you will get an opportunity to develop and implement smart and nimble finance processes and analysis to support the business in the best way. This will be done in close cooperation with Business Control in all functions as well as Group Finance. Through networking and benchmarking you will be part of taking the Finance organization into a modern organization, ready to meet the challenges ahead of us.
We are now looking for a financial controller to the Operational Finance Control team. This team is responsible for financial planning and profit analysis at Volvo Cars, both in short and long term, with focus on EBIT and Cash. The group consists of seven different teams, where three teams have the corporate process responsibility of planning and analysis and remaining four teams are responsible for the operational follow-up and planning of our different functions.
Main responsibilities
• To have deep understanding of financial performance and analysis of development within area of responsibility and present this to senior management
• Actively work to connect key business drivers with financial outcome and future plans
• To be a key player in developing and implementing efficient processes
• Responsibility to communicate financial development and initiate corrective actions to secure targets
• Complete ad hoc presentations and investigations as required
Required qualifications
• Bachelor of Science in Business Administration or equivalent
• Experience from Operating Units or similar positions is an advantage
• Proficient in both written and spoken English
• Good computer skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Commitment to deliver with high quality, aligned with good prioritization skills to get all tasks completed in time required

• Process oriented, structured and logical in approach
• Strong ability to take own initiatives and ability to develop the role and the processes
