About the Role
Our client is growing fast and need someone to manage their finance function. The role encompasses both strategic work and operational, on different levels. The responsibilities include month end, quarterly and annual reporting, P&L management, project reports, ensuring cash flow is ensured, collaborate with external bookkeepers who support as well as payroll and accounts payable. The role will also be responsible for some HR related tasks like number of days of annual leave etc. You will have the support of bookkeeping agencies in each country.
Ultimately, you 'll help maintain our company 's financial health and make sure we use our resources beneficially.
The role is in the Swedish office, in central Stockholm, and you will be supporting operation across SE, UK and US, alongside our Managing Director. It will be an opportunity to show what you got, and the faster you can go, the faster you will grow!
Responsibilities will include:
• Create insightful monthly, quarterly and annual reports for Board Level review with updates as required.
• Manage an ongoing forecast and continuously monitor costs and ways to optimise.
• Support Managing Director creating a robust budget
• Provide analytical support and reports.
• Support Sales with Proposals and other project cost calculations
• Tracking and reconciling bank statements
• Create cost analysis reports (fixed and variable costs)
• Process VAT and Salary payments
• Record accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Process invoices and follow up with clients, suppliers and partners as needed
• Participate in quarterly and annual audits
Qualifications
We 're looking for you with a Bachelor 's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting or Economics and also have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience across business partner and accounting roles.
• Familiar with accounting systems, Fortnox, QuickBooks, Xero
• Fluency in Microsoft suite (Office, 365, SharePoint, Teams etc.)
• Strong analytical abilities.
• Detail-oriented and analytical with an ability to spot numerical errors
• Ability to work effortlessly in English
• Good communicator
• An interest in Business Strategy
• Ability to work independently yet support an agile global team
• Bonus if you have experience with subscription models
To be successful in the role we think that you are a prestige less, positive person with a strong entrepreneurial spirit. You are comfortable with work that includes tasks from high to low and that your day doesn 't always ends up the way it was planned. You also have a great interest in IT/systems and is a quick learner thanks to your interest and curiosity.
