In this fixed-term position, you get the chance to really prove and develop your leadership skills, initially from the first of April until the end of the year, with the possibility for extension. The scope
The PLM Process Development department focuses on development within the Product Lifecycle Management area to ensure efficiency. In the upcoming years, we'll go through a great transformation, where we will integrate IT further into our operations and replace many of our different information systems - all in order to strengthen our competitiveness, increase the ability to deliver on promise, smoothen the communication between departments and lower the product development lead times. Simply said, the speed of change will never be this slow again. New opportunity awaits, we are entering the future of manufacturing and we want you to join us!
Your mission
With a steady hand, you manage a team within Product Management and R&D consisting of a PLM Process Owner, -managers and -experts. You estimate the costs, resources, and time required to meet the organization's objectives, and you lead, develop and evaluate your team to ensure that everyone is performing at their best and that you are continuously improving as a group. Thereby, you also make sure that your team has the support needed to deliver excellence, manage potential issues and ensure top-class onboarding of new team members. As a member of the Product Information management team, you're active in our Transformation of IT project, establishing new roles and structures and truly contributing to the development of the department.
In this position, you're preferably located in Sandviken.
Your profile
We're looking for an experienced leader with the ability to create a calm and stable workplace in the exciting times of change we're facing. A university degree in a relevant field such as IT or Mechanical Engineering is beneficial, but in the end, it's your experience that really matters. It's advantageous if you have a background in IT implementation projects and agile ways of working. Knowledge of PLM, product development and product design is also a plus. As we operate on the global stage, you need advanced English skills, both verbal and written.
You're an active and pragmatic leader with a passion for people and networking. With a natural curiosity, you quickly learn new ways of working and adapt to new environments. You have an eye for the big picture, and as an analytical person, you act and lead others in a dynamic way - always looking after what's best for your team and the organization.
