We are expanding our OES development team in Hillerstorp by searching for an experienced and pro-active design engineer.
As a Design Engineer you will develop new components and products such as original load carriers and accessories with high quality within targeted cost budget and time plans in a fast paced environment towards Thule's automotive customers.
In your role, you are responsive to customer needs and contribute advisory with your technical expertise already in the selling of the new product.
As a design engineer you will be evaluating technical solutions with respect to manufacturing methods, strength requirements, cost and aesthetics.

Your profile:
The ideal candidate for this position is skilled in communication and results-oriented team player, with a genuine interest in 3D CAD and engineering work. Cooperation and high quality are key words for you and you are encouraged to find new ways to effectively solve problems together with others.
You have several years' experience and proven success from design work in mechanical engineering, such as plastic, sheet metal or aluminum as well as experience of design work in SolidWorks. Experience from the automotive industry as well as Catia V5, is to your strong advantage. Good knowledge in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, is required.
