We are now looking for a experienced and structured Data Product Owner who wants to make a real impact. About the role: As a Senior Data Product Owner within Data & Analytics Engineering, you will be pivotal in ensuring disciplined execution, effectively prioritizing competing projects, business initiatives, and platform migrations, and maintaining operational excellence across both our legacy and new enterprise data platforms.
You will operate at the intersection of platform development, data engineering, and business value - ensuring that agreed priorities are translated into structured and predictable delivery.
Main tasks:
Own and prioritize the backlog in line with the roadmap, balancing long-term platform initiatives with commercial and regulatory needs
Ensure structured, secure, and compliant delivery of the Enterprise Data Platform
Translate business needs into epics and user stories in Jira and work closely with engineers to enable robust and scalable solutions
Create transparency around scope, timelines, dependencies, and risks, and follow up on delivery and value realization
Ensure traceability in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
Drive clear alignment across business, IT, risk, compliance, and leadership
We are looking for you who:
Several years of experience as a Product Owner in a technical environment, preferably focused on data- or platform-related products
An academic degree in data, IT, or a related field. Product Owner certification is considered an advantage
Experience working with Jira and translating business needs into clear epics and user stories
Solid technical understanding of modern data platforms and cloud environments (e.g., Azure, Databricks, or similar technologies)
Experience working in agile environments, prioritizing backlogs, and driving delivery in complex stakeholder settings
Strong communication skills in Swedish or Norwegian, as well as English
