hela Sverige We are looking for a highly motivated person to take on the role as event project leader. At the Volvo Trucks Experience Center we support Volvo Trucks with customer visits, product launch events and other events, both internal and external. Always with a premium touch to it.
In this role you will be responsible for planning and executing customer visits to Volvo Trucks facilities in Gothenburg and occasionally also other sites within the Volvo Group. You will work in close cooperation with market company representatives from the different sales areas as well as a big network of suppliers in order to make it a premium customer experience for our customers. We believe you are passionate about meeting people in a positive atmosphere with a lot of challenges and possibilities. You want to join us on the sustainable path that defines everything we do and strive to do.
In order to succeed in this role we think you are an open-minded person with excellent interpersonal skills, you enjoy a high pace and can easily adapt to new situations that may appear.
As an event project leader you will guide customers and guests in our exhibition, make all arrangements connected to their visit in terms of hotels, restaurants, transports and everything else that is required, including invoice handling and account settings.
We believe you have a strong interest in developing and maintaining good relations with our suppliers, local partners and colleagues. We strive for a healthy and positive working environment and expect you to contribute in a positive manner.
Wanted skills:
Volvo knowledge and experience (company, products and culture).
Experience from truck operations.
Excellent language skills in several languages.
Comfortable to take care of groups of different nationalities.
Good communication skills.
Diplomatic.
Good computer skills, MS Office, Power Point.
Flexible and creative job apprehension.
Flexibility to handle unexpected situations.
Creativity, inventive and problem solving.
Accessibility to a broad network both in Sweden and local market companies, both inside Volvo Trucks and outside Volvo Group
Truck driving license
