hela Sverige The Project Manager's office at the European Spallation Source Eric in Lund, Sweden, invites applications for an ESS Installation Coordinator.
Description of main responsibilities
Directly reporting to the ESS Project Manager, who is responsible for assisting the Director General in delivering the ESS Construction Project according to its baseline approved scope, schedule, and cost, the ESS Installation Coordinator has to
• Continuously optimize the installation schedule of the ESS facility in view of meeting the main project milestones, in close collaboration with Installation Coordinators from all sub-projects.
• Prioritize the use of ESS-wide installation resources (people and equipment).
• Identify and implement effective solutions to safely perform installation across the facility.
• Support ESS Project Manager, Directors and Subproject Leaders on ESS installation planning and execution.
For these purposes he/she has to:
• Organize and chair regular installation meetings with Installation Coordinators from all sub-projects to ensure safety, understand priorities and needs for shared resources.
• Collaborate closely with the Installation Support Coordination group.
• Report status, progress, plans, and issues to the Monthly Project Reviews and the ESS Technical Board (ETB).
Qualifications
• Bachelor in engineering or equivalent education in combination with relevant experience.
• Education and practice in project management.
• At least 15 years practical experience from assignments involving installation of complex equipment in multi-disciplinary industries/facilities with more than 5 years in leadership positions.
• Experience from planning, coordinating and leading installation of large and complex systems/components.
• Adaptability, good communication skills and the ability to identify issues and proactively work to solve them are necessary to perform well in this position.
• Excellent oral and written English skills are a prerequisites; knowledge of other European language(s) would be an advantage.
• Familiarity with the Swedish Work Environment Authority's provisions, "AFS" is desirable.
• Experience from working with strategic issues and organizational structures is an advantage, especially in an international environment.
• To be successful and perform well in this position you have demonstrated good leadership and training skills. You have a strong ability to interact with multiple stakeholders.

Duration & Location
The position is permanent with six months initial probationary period. Your work place will be situated in Lund, Sweden.
