Would you like to grab a challenging and exciting opportunity to shape the future of Nordea's corporate products agenda as part of the Business and Transaction Banking Architecture team in Group Architecture? We are now looking for an Enterprise Architect to join us.
About this opportunity
The candidate must have a proven track record in managing a diverse group of business and technical stakeholders and effectively performing the role of a trusted advisor with hands-on, fit-for-purpose strategy and delivery-oriented transition and target architecture for the Business and Transaction Banking portfolio. Working knowledge of cash management, trade finance, digital and customer engagement channels, corporate services, open banking, API management, payments and core banking is required.
What you'll be doing:
* Being accountable for developing architecture strategies, transition and target architectures that provide explicit guidance and steering for initiatives within Transaction Banking.
* Providing solution design and architectural leadership that includes creation of content related to business, information, application, process and technology architecture viewpoints.
* Crafting architectural blueprints to support coordinated realisation of multiple Transaction Banking related initiatives in the bank. It includes documenting and diagramming conceptual, logical and physical architectures across solution viewpoints listed. The candidate must also be able to articulate benefits and drawbacks of various design options and recommend solutions that deliver the most business value while limiting technical debt.
* Educating and assisting stakeholders with Group Architecture's governance framework and associated processes.
* Ensuring that the architecture roadmap is aligned with the business strategy of each of the bank's business domain to help them achieve their respective objectives, improve operational efficiency or marketplace competitiveness - while staying within risk appetite and complying with regulations.

* Build effective relationships with other architects and stakeholders across the organisation to facilitate alignment of Transaction Banking target architectures with other business areas and other domains.
* Have the ability to communicate the Business and Transaction Banking Architecture recommendations to a wide variety of stakeholders
* Guide and advice stakeholders to resolve architectural issues to support the implementation of the target picture
* Drive strategic discussions for evolving the Transaction Banking domain architectures to deliver reduced complexity, cost efficiencies, improved agility, reduced risk, and/or improved business capabilities.
* Adapt and respond to change and work effectively to resolve ambiguity
* Are creative and have a strong desire for innovation
* Keep focus on own continuous development and learning as well as mentor others to build knowledge and improve overall effectiveness
Required Skills and Experience:
* 8+ years of related work experience in the areas of cash management and trade finance products, corporate banking, digital and customer engagement channels, workflow and case management, business intelligence, automation and APIs
* 5+ years' experience with leading and governing architecture and solution designs in a portfolio of initiatives and/or large transformation projects, delivering architecture (business, technology and information) and solution design in a client-facing, consulting and/or delivery role in large transformation projects
* 5+ years demonstrated experience in areas of cash management and trade finance solutions, digital channels, customer engagement channels, corporate services, workflow and case management, business intelligence, automation and APIs in banking or financial services industries, including supporting the project planning and execution
* 5+ years' experience developing web, mobile and backend solutions/applications using technologies such as JAVA, NOSQL and relational databases, orchestration, workflow and case management engines (e.g. PEGA) and other relevant technologies
* Demonstrated ability to drive development of target and transition architectures and to craft fit-for-purpose architecture content that provides explicit guidance for large and complex transformation initiatives.
* Demonstrated experience with integration technologies, methods and architecture patterns to support batch, real-time and near-real-time data integration to support operational lending, analytical and reporting use cases
* Proficient with business analysis, software engineering, integration and orchestration, technical solution design, and risk and quality management
* Prior team management experience required, preferably in a matrix organisation
