SR International is looking for a journalist with experience of writing and broadcasting news in English, who also has a good knowledge of the Swedish language and Swedish society to fill a permanent, full-time vacancy. Knowledge of another of our broadcast languages is a merit.
SR International is Sveriges Radio's international and multi-cultural channel. We broadcast news about Sweden in 12 different languages to a national and international audience via radio and the Internet. The English service has the main responsibility for news coverage 7 days a week. The reporter we are looking for should be prepared to write news bulletins, produce radio reports and features for our broadcasts and the internet. You are a team player, but also able to rely on your own judgement when necessary. The job entails both evening and weekend duty.
As the majority of the team are men, we particularly welcome female applicants.
