We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead one of our teams in SW System Test at Quality Assurance within R&D. The team is called Medium Solution & Safe City Test and performs test of our Medium Business application ACS (Axis Camera Station) and test of our different Safe City initiatives.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Axis is on a journey where software, applications, systems and connected services have an increased business and technical focus to complement our world class product portfolio. In this position you will be responsible for quality assurance of the continuous development of applications within our Medium Business segment (ACS) and for our Safe City solutions. This includes all aspects of quality assurance; functional testing and nonfunctional, as well as a joint responsibility for the development processes. Your main tasks will be to:
Lead the team and individuals in their daily activities, make sure we get most out of everyone and that they get the needed support.
Run the day-to-day operations making sure that we have the right competence, test processes and test tools as well as a relevant network within the organization.
Develop your team and its members related to both the needs of the company as well as in balance with the needs of every individual.
Lead and participate in the strategy work, in quality assurance related areas, within Medium Business and Safe City.
Perform standard management tasks like development talks, salary setting, budgeting, recruitment of test engineers, etc.

You also have a genuine technical interest and like to get involved in work to improve the whole product development chain.
You fulfill the following criteria:
At least a few years of leadership experience in leading roles, such as test lead, project manager or line manager.
You are passionate about testing and quality work and have relevant test experiences from former assignments.
Well up to date with modern agile ways of testing.
Fluent in Swedish and English.
Last but most important you have a proven successful track record in leading and developing people, and a genuine interest in finding ways to develop your team, etc. As a person you are seen as positive and empathic, combined with the ability to negotiate and take decisions when needed.
