hela Sverige Do you enjoy working with people, leadership, and technology? Are you excited about product development? We're now looking for a manager to lead a team in Lund that works with the image properties for products in Axis' Fixed Dome and Fisheye camera portfolio.
Who is your future team?
Your future team will be the Fixed Dome and Fisheye camera development department, where we have overall responsibility for developing several world-class cameras from idea to volume production and launch. In our projects, employees from many different disciplines collaborate: imaging, mechanics, electronics, software, industrial design, production technology, industrialization, and more. Our department has a mix of junior and senior employees who work together and learn from each other in an open, supportive climate.
The current team has grown, and we are making a split of the team into two teams. The current manager will take responsibility for one of the teams and we're now seeking a new manager for the other team.
The team works with the image properties of our camera products, integration of sensors, optical considerations, image optimization, production technology and much more.
What you will do as an Engineering Manager
Your task will be to lead the team and help engineers grow in their roles so they can perform at their best. The team consists of engineers with varying levels of experience and developing and recruiting personnel will be important tasks, as well as conducting appraisal talks and salary reviews.
The team collaborates closely with mechanical engineers, core technology teams, production technology teams and other imaging teams. You'll become part of this collaboration and are expected to develop our ways of working, participate in discussions on technical strategies and contribute to long-term planning. You'll be part of the department's management team and report to the director of the department.
Who are you?
You're a natural leader passionate about developing employees and products. You have experience as a leader, have an engineering degree and enjoy building and maintaining relationships. You are also pragmatic, have a positive drive forward and you master Swedish and English in speech and writing. It is meritorious if you have experience from the imaging domain, e.g. have been working with sensors, optics or image algorithms.
