FACTS is a business unit within the Power Grids division in ABB. FACTS technologies enable power system owners to increase transfer capacity in their existing power system while at the same time improving electrical stability. As a result, more power reaches the customers with less environmental impact, shorter project time and at lower investment costs compared to alternative solutions. At the ABB FACTS unit in Västerås, we develop and sell this technology to customers around the world.

In this role you will also take responsibility for time schedules, budget follow-up and quality control of your work during the entire FACTS project execution process. You will also be involved in research and development activities for our product portfolio. Sweden is the lead center for the Global Engineering department for FACTS technology within ABB and you will be in frequent contact with the other engineering disciplines, sub-suppliers, project managers, customers, local ABB units as well as customers all over the world.
