hela Sverige As a PCB layout engineer you design the products printed circuit board (PCB). Your primary work is the PCB layout itself although work include quality, reliability, design for manufacturability and production aspects as well as electrical schematic design. This position will hold the expert role for electronic CAD/layout in the product design team. Work tasks include defining, PCB stack-up, PCB technology, footprint geometry and trace/plane routing of course. Signal integrity, impedance matching and EMC management is key to any modern electronic products and you know these things by heart and practice.
In order to succeed in the role, we prefer that you have
• Master of Science or bachelor's degree or equivalent within electronic engineering or similar. Suitable educations are Elektroteknik, Electronic Design, Y, E, etc.
• Experience in PCB layout and electronic design.
• Good knowledge of PCB technology, PCB quality, PCB reliability, design for manufacturability (DFM) and high-volume production.
• Good knowledge of signal integrity, impedance matchning and EMC.
• It is a merit with experience from Altium Designer and Mentor Graphics Xpedition PCB.
