hela Sverige Volvo Group Truck Technology are looking for engineers within Electrical & Electronics Engineering at the group for ECU Development.
There is now an opportunity for you to join Volvo Group Truck Technology in the development of our products. Electrical and Electronics Engineering has an increased need of skilled electrical hardware engineers within the group for ECU Development located in Gothenburg.
The team is responsible for the complete chain from specification and development to maintenance of Electrical Control Units, all done in close cooperation with our suppliers throughout the world. We do this with the high Volvo quality standards in mind to secure a profitable solution for our complete range of brands within the Volvo Group.

Position description
As ECU Owner you will be delivery- and lifecycle responsible for the electronics and mechanics for a family of Electrical Control Units. The mission is to secure that the delivered ECU's meet defined requirements and is physically installed properly in the target environment.
You will in this role work in a cross functional team with global representation. In addition you will also cooperate with external suppliers to develop the electronics and ECU housing.

Qualifications
University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar
At least 3-5 years of experience within hardware development of embedded systems
Fluent in English, written and spoken
A successful experience in electrical HW development will be an important merit
Experience from Advanced Product Quality Planning is a merit
ISO 26262 knowledge is a merit
