We currently have the following job opening;
EE Architect
EE Architecture is responsible for the in-vehicle electrical architecture design including topology, function allocation, vehicle mode management, schematics, signal database and network management.
In this role you will be working with the electrical architecture for the future electrical platforms. You will work with a wide range of functionality cross all CEVT & Geely. You will work close to Geely's Architecture team in China. Occasional travel required. The position also includes supporting and educate resources in China in similar described tasks.
Responsibilities and tasks
• Responsible to develop electrical architecture x-platform.
• Responsible to support prototype builds.
• Participate in architectural / functional / concept investigations for future Geely electrical system(s).
• Lead resolution of electrical system issues on prototype platforms.
• Assure progress of system and component development regards to requirements.
• Act to resolve disputes and make tradeoffs.
Profile and Background
• At least Bachelor degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics or long practical work experience within automotive industry.
• Knowledge of electrical architecture, electrical network and communication, signal configuration, diagnosis and software-download for CAN, LIN, Ethernet, and Flexray.
• Knowledge of following computer based SW tools like CANoe, CANalyzer, and also other measuring tools like oscilloscope, multimeter etc. used in fault tracing is an advantage.
• Good experience of automotive electrical system development.
• English language required (spoken and written)
• Experience in S-EDS, Signal Database and Power Supply is very advantageous.
• Good competence of in-vehicle communication and SW engineering.
• High level of engagement to solve any issues and help others
• Positive attitude, resolute and high drive for results
• Flexible regarding travels.
• Each individual in our team has a high level of responsibility and mandate, and is expected to be able to work autonomously.
• Cultural awareness, especially China - Western culture
