Vogue Scandinavia is now looking for a diven and detail-oriented Editorial Assistant. This entry-level, full-time role offers a unique opportunity to work at the heart of the Vogue Scandinavia newsroom and support the production of world-class content.
Based as our centrally-located Stockholm headquarters, the role provides a dynamic and inspiring work environment alongside a passionate and creative team.
Responsibilities
Write daily articles as directed by editors, research and pitch editorial ideas
Assist with the production of daily articles in CMS system, including image research, building content, link creation
Regular research into SEO traffic drivers and creation of SEO-optimised text
Conduct research and fact-checking for articles across verticals
Assist with the production of daily online articles, including sourcing images and building and formatting in CMS
Maintaining editorial calendar of key Scandinavian dates and events
Transcribing interviews (utilising dedicated software) for the editorial team
Conducting interviews for stories as commissioned by editorial team
Ad hoc administrative support, and assistance with productions and social media as needed
Skills & Qualifications
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and proactive attitude
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to write clear, compelling copy with Vogue tone of voice
Understanding of SEO basics and experience with SEO content
Familiarity with CMS platforms (such as WordPress) is a plus
An understanding of and interest in Scandinavian fashion, culture and lifestyle
Confidence in a fast, deadline-driven environment
Journalism, communications or media-related degree
Prior editorial or newsroom experience (such as an internship) is preferred
