With the unique software Pygargus CXP, the company can extract and analyze large amounts of longitudinal data from electronic medical records. By combining EMR data from Scandinavia with general-population based health registers, Pygargus can deliver very strong Real World Evidence compared with many other settings. Our client base consists of the life science industry, academia, health authorities and health care providers.
Description
Pygargus is currently expanding and is thus seeking new ambitious people to its Company. The current position will take on a multifaceted development role for Pygargus in it?s ambition to build further the in-house competence in the field of epidemiology, outcomes research and health economics. Pygargus is seeking a person who is capable and motivated to build the analytical competence in the Company and to act as a devoted project leader.
The responsibilities include:
• Promote value of evidence generated by Pygargus to multiple stakeholders
• Promote Pygargus by publishing scientific results, presenting at conferences etc.
• Establish close collaboration with top research groups in the field of epidemiology, statistics and outcomes research in the European setting
• Establish close collaboration with authorities and health care providers in the life science sector
• Build up competence in the field of epidemiology and outcomes research and capable to take on team responsibility in future with direct reports
• Engage in the strategic discussion on analytical focus areas of Pygargus for the coming years
• Initiate and present study proposals to clients in an attractive manner
• Lead projects throughout the whole project cycle including customer facing and steering committee representation
• Hands-on analytical work in projects that Pygargus takes on
Qualifications
• Experience from quantitative research in the area of epidemiology, health economics, outcomes research.
• Work experience from projects related to clinical research, e.g. pharmacovigilence and comparative effectiveness research
• Experience from life science industry, health care organization or health authorities is a merit
