<span 10pt="">As Director Transformation lead - General Accounting & Reporting within Global Finance Operations you will lead the global processes towards leading practices and agreed efficiency improvement targets. This will be done together with the Finance Delivery Organization, the Development Organization and local finance. Through networking and benchmarking you will be part of taking the Finance organization into a modern organization, ready to meet the challenges ahead of us. This work will provide a great opportunity for the right person to gain knowledge about Volvo Cars finance processes and tools and further develop your leadership skills. Significant interaction and close cooperation cross all areas within Volvo Cars is required.
The General Accounting & Reporting area includes the processes for fixed assets, inventory, payroll & employee benefits, warranty and general accounting & closing
Main responsibilities
* Lead, prioritize and drive processes towards leading practices and agreed efficiency improvement targets
* Drive change management incl. harmonization and standardization of the process and tools within scope
* Provide subject matter expertise and support in complex or critical process activities
* Establish Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Concept in cooperation with Global Finance Operations Delivery organization
* Owner of Global Process Model incl. newly established companies, joint ventures and business models
* Develop policies, processes and operating procedure
* Keep track of legislation, trends, latest news and external benchmark to drive continuous improvement and process efficiency
Who are we looking for?
* University degree in Business Administration or equivalent with at least 10 years relevant experience from finance related processes and project and program management
* Several years of managerial and highly developed leadership experience in an international environment with skills to lead and influence through others, demonstrating the aspired leadership culture of Volvo Cars
* Excellent knowledge of Finance processes and policies in scope with the ability to add business value in daily operations both on high and detailed level.
* Very good knowledge and experience of process management tools and techniques
* Ability to work and be comfortable in a dynamic environment under continuous development
* Proactive approach with ability to prioritize to deliver on commitments with tight deadlines
* Highly developed analytical skills
* High energy, proactive and result oriented with customer focus
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Knowledge of Local GAAP and IFRS
* Fluent in English, verbally and written
