We are now looking for a Director Solution Center IM/BI/Analytics - role mission
As Director Solution Center IM/BI/Analytics you will be accountable for all the deliveries within the scope of the Solution Center and for its performance and development, being the Center of Excellence in the IM/BI/Analytics area. You will drive the organization through line management, be fully responsible for runtime deliveries and project deliveries according to Process & IT demands. You operate in a global context, having a number of interfaces to various other units in Group IT and Process & IT-stakeholders within the Volvo Group.
As Director, you have responsibility for its performance and development. You operate in a global context, having a number of interfaces to business as well as Process&IT stakeholders within the Volvo group.
You will report to the VP BA Solutions, in Volvo Group IT.
Key responsibilities*Full life-cycle responsibility for IM/BI/Analytics solutions and services in scope
• Actively drive and develop future services needed to meet demand based on technology and business evolution
• Develop the new advanced analytics function in Group IT, supporting the overall strategic IT prioritiy in the Volvo Group
• Understand, estimate and deliver project and enhancement activities based on business requirements
• Cooperate and interact with stakeholders in Group IT, P&IT functions and TD/BA/GF:s in Volvo Group
• Manage and report runtime costs and service quality levels
• Secure capacity and competence development to support the project, solution and service portfolio and roadmap
• Participate in vendor/partner management together with our Purchasing organization
• External sourcing of work packages when applicable and delivery follow-up
• Be the driver of a direction and communicate a vision of how Volvo Group will benefit of IM, BI and Analytics solutions and services

Wanted profile
As a Director you need to have the ability to create an efficient and trustful day-to-day operation together with your management team with a pragmatic attitude. You have proven experience as a leader in senior positions and excel in demonstrating core values according to the Volvo Values.
You will need to actively cooperate with various stakeholders on senior management level and navigate with ease in a multi-cultural environment. It is important you have an visionary, innovative and creative mind-set in order to inspire and challenge your organisation and stakeholders. You also have a strong quality focus and a personal drive to reach the objectives and targets set for your solution center, understanding how these contribute to the Volvo Group vision and strategy.
Required competencies*A proven track record of experience and senior leadership in the IM/BI/Analytics domain
• A broad understanding and passion of how data and analytics can create business value
• Experience in solution and service development in the area based on needs and technical evolution
• Genuine interest for developing and coaching people
• Excellent communication & presentation skills
• Complete proficiency in English
• Relevant university degree
