hela Sverige Connected Solutions is a newly established unit that will lead the development of the Volvo Group's connected solutions and supporting capabilities to further strengthen the Volvo Group position and competitiveness in the area.
As Director Finance you will lead the planning and execution of the finance agenda and support Connected Solutions management team in this area. You hold the responsibility for the overall business control and reporting for Connected Solutions. It is both a strategic and operational role that requires a cross-functional way of working.
The position reports to the SVP Connected Solutions and is a member of the Connected Solutions management team.
Key Responsibilities
As Director Finance, your key responsibilities are:
• Lead budget process and financial target setting
• Secure financial follow-up with transparent structure and quality
• Follow-up financial performance and report areas of deviation, pro-actively inform and advise relevant function to take corrective actions
• Support decision-making by providing relevant financial analysis and recommendation
• Structure business cases and follow up of decided investments
• Lead a small team of business controllers
• Collaborate with Finance functions within the Volvo Group to secure alignment and successful execution
• Be a member of Connected Solutions Management team. As a member of the management team you will be involved in strategy, business development and other projects.
Location & Timeline
The position is based in Gothenburg, Sweden. Occasional travel is expected. The final date of sending your application is May 29th.

Competence Profile & Qualifications
To qualify for this role, you should have experience from:
• Experience and proven track record from Financial and Business controlling
• Experience and interest in managing efficient financial processes
• Passion for and solid understanding of financial analysis, performance follow-up and formulating fact-based recommendations
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Successful in building excellent working relationships and operating effectively as a member of a leadership team
• Excellent professional skills and ability to work in a fast paced, multicultural and diverse environment
We believe the successful candidate has operational experience from working in a global business environment. You must be highly competent in structuring financial analysis and reporting and provide recommendations. You have a passion for business and an interest in people.
You have a Master's degree or equivalent as the basis for your career. You are fluent in English. International business experience is a merit. The successful candidate will have shown a winning attitude and great persona in combination with a strong track record and references.
