hela Sverige Powertrain Engineering is implementing a new organization for Certification & Compliance and is now looking for the Certification & Compliance Director for the team in Göteborg. Powertrain Engineering contributes to product leadership for all our brands by developing and maintaining leading powertrain systems, e.g. engines, transmissions and axles. We develop both conventional combustion powertrains as well as electrified powertrains.
The new Certification & Compliance Department is a global team of around 40 employees and consultants with presence in Sweden, France and USA as well as networks covering Japan, Brazil and India. Its mission is to drive all certification and compliance activities necessary to ensure that our products are fulfilling all legal requirements such as exhaust emission regulations (Euro VI, GHG...) or substances regulations (REACH, ROHS...) as well as our internal environmental policies.
As Certification & Compliance Director, you will be responsible for the team based in Gothenburg focused on Heavy Duty Engines.
Responsibilities / Main tasks
In your role as Certification & Compliance Director you will be responsible to ensure the compliance of our products regarding legal requirements. This covers all tasks required to get certification approvals from Type Approval Authorities as well as all the compliance monitoring through COP and ISC tests.
Your task will be to drive all certification and compliance activities necessary to fulfill emission and OBD legal aspects. It will be important to standardize and optimize a global way of working.
As part of the local Product Compliance Committee, you will be responsible to define which topics will require to be reviewed in this forum.
You are expected to drive, maintain and develop the team key competence areas and reinforce the contribution in global improvement actions within Certification & Compliance network.
You will be part of both management teams of the Certification & Compliance Department and PE-Gothenburg site.
