About the Assignment
We are looking for a Digital Hardware Designer to support development of advanced digital hardware in a professional engineering environment. You will work close to both design and verification, combining schematic work with hands-on lab activities and troubleshooting.
Job DescriptionDesign and develop digital hardware solutions involving CPUs, memories (DRAM/flash), Ethernet switches, and clocking components (e.g., synthesizers/jitter cleaners).
Create and maintain schematics.
Contribute to signal integrity work and identify potential issues early in the design cycle.
Perform hands-on lab work including measurements, bring-up, debugging, and verification.
Use lab instruments such as power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers to validate designs and troubleshoot problems.
Drive your work independently by proactively seeking information and collaborating with relevant stakeholders.
RequirementsExperience in digital hardware design (e.g., CPUs, DRAM/flash, Ethernet switches, clock synthesizers/jitter cleaners).
Understanding of signal integrity and related design challenges.
Experience with schematic design.
Hands-on experience working in a hardware lab, including solid soldering skills.
Familiarity with common lab instruments (power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers) and measurement techniques.
Ability to work independently and drive tasks forward.
Nice to haveAbility to simulate signal integrity issues using industry-standard tools.
