Bygghemma is looking for a DevOps Engineer to drive smarter, faster deliveries across one of the Nordics' leading e-commerce platforms.
About the role We are now looking for a dedicated and solution-oriented DevOps Engineer to join our team and help shape the future of software delivery at Bygghemma. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a secure, stable, and efficient development and production environment. You will play a key role in driving the development and maintenance of our CI/CD pipelines, managing our cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform, and coordinating and optimizing release processes across teams. You will be part of a tech-driven organization where your work enables fast, reliable, and controlled deployments while ensuring that our developers have the tools, environments, and processes they need to build, test, and release effectively.
The role involves close collaboration with development, QA, and other stakeholders to plan and execute software releases, manage incidents, and ensure availability across testing and production environments. You will act as the gatekeeper for production deployments and take ownership of CI/CD tooling, environments, and release infrastructure. You will also advocate for DevOps best practices such as observability, automation, and security across the delivery chain.
About you We are looking for someone with several years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or infrastructure roles. You have a solid understanding of CI/CD practices, version control, and build systems, and are experienced with cloud platforms-preferably GCP. You're comfortable working with infrastructure-as-code and automation tools, and you're familiar with change management, incident response, and rollback strategies. You thrive in a role that blends technical execution with communication and coordination.
As a person, you are proactive, accountable, and structured. You work well across teams and you take ownership of improving systems and delivery pipelines. You're a natural bridge between tech, business, and operations, and bring a sharp analytical mindset to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
