We are a Stockholm based technology developer and we are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team. You will assist with the development and maintenance of critical infrastructure.
This is a hybrid position in that you will work part-time with traditional sysadmin (Systems Administration) tasks on our legacy platform.
Your Profile:
Infrastructure Support
• Experience with automation/configuration management tools or the desire to learn them
• Knowledge of best-practices in an always-up, always-available service
• Ability to design and implement CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding or experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) architecture
Programming
• A working understanding of writing code (Python and/or Java is a plus)
• Ability to execute tests and assist in pinpointing code problems
• Ability to design and implement automated test environments
• Strong foundation in source code management and version control (Git)
Systems administrator with strong knowledge/experience in:
• Linux (Ubuntu/Debian) headless administration
• TCP/IP networking and DNS routing
• Virtualization and VM administration (docker etc..)
• Manual (legacy) code deployments
What You'll Do
Developing & Building (60%)
• Design, create, support, and troubleshoot production infrastructure in Google GCP including optimizing deployment and automated test pipelines
• Ensure compliance with security standards by performing regular tasks including patching infrastructure and reviewing system alerts
• Identify and fix infrastructure bugs or bottleneck issues
Systems Administration (30%)
• Keep an eye on legacy systems by overseeing monitoring and performing fixes where needed
• Assist in the ongoing tasks of improving legacy infrastructure by migrating to cloud solutions
• Support the legacy software developers in code deployments
Planning and Team Engagement (10%)
• Work collaboratively with software development teams
• Get involved with company-wide research and planning meetings on all infrastructure

We are hiring dynamic individuals - always looking to improve themselves and their projects. Having the ability to be flexible and flourish in a fast-paced atmosphere while remaining focused, working productively, and successfully juggling many tasks is imperative.
We also look for individuals with the ability to take initiative and work independently with very little supervision - you will report directly to the head of technology.
