You will join a team of very experienced IT architects that are developing a modern cloud-based platform for hosting micro service oriented eco systems. In this you will be a key player bridging the gap between the development teams and the core functions/DevSecOps specialists within Volvo as well as with our partners. Your ideas, suggestions, and inputs will be highly valued and give you the opportunity to work with all the exiting areas within the ecosystem of Microservice Architectures including OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD and middleware such as Kafka.

Our products are in the area of Product Data Management (PDM), which is the core of Volvo Groups product development. By providing better, modern solutions we will make a difference for the teams developing and maintaining our products as well as for the engineers working on the true Volvo products- trucks, buses, and more
We think you have/are:
Open minded, curious and have a strong desire to learn
Interest or experience in Cloud (Networking, Platform as a Service, security - preferably in Azure).
Openshift / Kubernetes cluster admin competence
Docker and general Linux experience
Experience in automation (ansible, terraform)
Proficiency in English
Good to have:
Security knowledge in cloud ops / application context
Development experience (Java, .NET)
Git competence
Familiarity with build automation using AzureDevOps or Github actions
Experience from Open-source project
GitOps knowledge e.g. experience of ArgoCD for managing cluster configurations
Experience collaborating in international teams
