AstraZeneca Gothenburg is one of AstraZeneca?s three core sites for drug research, with about 2.500 employees at site. Within Packaging and Device Unit Sweden, a sub-division of Inhalation Product Development, we have an exciting pipeline, consisting of new devices for delivery of various drug formulations.
The unit currently comprises 30 people, dedicated to development of new inhaled drug products and we want you to be a part of growing our expertise in this area.
The Role
As a Device Quality Engineer you will ensure that all device projects will be delivered with the right quality and documentation. You will be responsible to ensure that the right working procedures and best practice are implemented in the device projects.
Examples include:
• Be responsible for the working procedures within device development.
• Ensure that best practice, templates, working procedures, regulations and other standards are implemented within the device projects.
• Follow and review new regulations and other standards within the device area.
• Facilitate risk events and ensure that risks are mitigated in an effective and secured way within device projects.
• Provide expert knowledge when it comes to GXP work within the device development.
• Ensure that equipment and methods are validated and fit for purpose.
• Be a link between the QA function and the device development function.
Requirements
We are looking for you who are considered to be at senior level expertise in this area, have relevant education within Material, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering at minimum Bs level and minimum 7 years of work experience within area.
The career level of the positions will be set according to the background of the applicants.
