hela Sverige Scania is undergoing a transformation from being a leading supplier of trucks, buses, and engines to providing complete and sustainable transport solutions. Together with TRATON and our sister brands MAN, Volkswagen Truck & Bus, and International, we are working to shape the future of mobility with innovative and environmentally conscious solutions. Our values - customer first, respect, team spirit, responsibility, and elimination of waste - are at the heart of everything we do. Together, we are at the forefront of creating a sustainable future.
Role Summary
At Powertrain Torque Control SW (ENEON), we are looking at expanding our team of engineers to meet the future challenges in the automotive industry. You will be part of a team that plays a central part in developing and integrating functionality for both conventional and electric powertrains, focusing on functionality that control both propulsion and retardation of the vehicle.
We work together in a fun and agile work environment, allowing you to turn ideas into reality in a short amount of time.
Job Responsibilities
As a development engineer in our unit, you will work with varying tasks related to embedded system development for propulsion related functions, such as:
Function development in embedded systems with programming in C and Matlab/Simulink.
Development of propulsion and brake torque distribution, accelerator pedal functions for optimizing drivability, speed control functionality and auxiliary brake torque control.
Verification of developed functionality in software-in-the-loop (SIL)- and vehicle- environments.
Who you are
We believe you are a driven and curious engineer with an interest in mechatronics and embedded systems. You share a strong interest for both state-of-the-art function development as well as hands-on vehicle testing. You hold a master 's degree in mechatronics, physics, mechanical engineering or equivalent field. The role requires experience in software development using C, Matlab and Simulink. Proficient in English (spoken and written).
You are open to an agile way of working and prefer to work in a team, sharing responsibility, offering and accepting help when needed. We believe in strong teams and put pride in succeeding together. Driver's license (B) is mandatory and a license for commercial vehicles is a significant merit. Vehicle testing is done both at our test track and during climate tests in Sweden and Europe, so travels are required.
We welcome applicants from all backgrounds - your unique experience and perspectives is valuable to us.
